3年前の今日3月11日14:46、東日本大地震が発生しました。あらためて震災および震災後に震災に関連して亡くなられた方々のご冥福をお祈り申し上げます。3年を経た現在でもなお2,633人が行方不明、避難者は26万7000人に及ぶという余りにも重い事実があります。一方で、震災後に民主党政権が決定したエネルギー政策の見直しを始め、国内外の多くの声を無視するかのように現在の自民党安倍政権はある種ショック療法とも言える強引な舵取りを続けています。
震災直後に私たち7e.p.は、国内外43アーティストの御協力を受けベネフィット・コンピレーション『Resume』3タイトルをiTunesにて3ヶ月限定で配信、終了時に日本赤十字社宛に181,305円を寄付させて頂きました。プロジェクト終了後も、震災の（自主的な）終息化防止への自戒も込めて7e.p.のSNS関係の壁紙には『Resume』のアートワーク使用を継続してきましたが、震災から3周年を迎えるにあたって、ささやかではありますが少しでも多くの皆様の震災に対してのリマインダーとして機能してくれることを願って、本日より『Resume』3タイトルの幕開けとなったクワージのトラック“Happy Once Again”を3月末日までBandcampとSoundCloudにてストリーミング＆フリーダウンロード配信いたします。シェア大歓迎です。

先日のクワージ日本ツアー最終公演でまるで日本の現状ピッタリな3つのカバー曲“War Pigs”“(What’s So Funny Bout) Peace Love & Understanding?”“Don’t Stop Me Now”をが演奏されるのを見つめながら思いついたこのアイディアを快諾してくれたクワージの2人にも感謝を。

3 years ago today, our country Japan got horrendous earthquake, resulting tsunami and more worst derivation – nuclear plant dysfunction. We would like to offer our deepest condolences to all victims again. Though it’s been 3 years since we’re facing this heavy truth that still 2,633 are missing and 267,000 refugees from their home. On the other hand, the prime minister Abe and LDP government seem to ignore the voices from inside/outside Japan and steer everything very extreme. For example, denied the energy policy which the former government by The Democratic Party decided after the Fukushima incident.
Right after the quake we 7e.p. released 3 months only a 3-volume digital benefit compilation album titled ‘Resume’. It included 43 artists hailing from America, Canada, Australia, the U.K., the Netherlands and even Japan. After the project is done, we donated 181,305JPY to Japanese Red Cross Society. Even though the project is finished, we’re still using that artwork to our SNS wallpapers for not forgetting we’re still on the way of recovering from the quake and it is not finished yet. On 3 years anniversary from the quake, we decide to stream/free download Quasi’s “Happy Once Again” which was the first song of “Resume Volume 1” on our Bandcamp & SoundCloud until the end of the March. We hope it works as a small reminder to many of you. Sharing is very welcome.

I got this idea while watching Quasi was playing 3 cover songs which might fit perfect for Japan today – “War Pigs”“(What’s So Funny Bout) Peace Love & Understanding?”“Don’t Stop Me Now” on their last show of their Japan tour on March 7th. Thanks Quasi for accepting the idea and helping us again. You guys are the best.
